Party Chicken

4 large chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned

8 pieces of bacon (NOT cooked)

1 pkg dried beef (only a few dried beef pkgs do not have MSG so WATCH ingredient list carefully)

(you can eliminate this if you cannot find it w/o MSG for those w/allergy)

1 can Campbell’s Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom soup (NO MSG) or regular mushroom soup

1 cup Sour Cream

Lay dried beef across bottom of greased 9 x 12 baking pan.

Wrap the 8 pieces of chicken with a piece of bacon and place on top of the dried beef.

Mix the Soup and Sour Cream thoroughly in a bowl and pour over the top of the chicken.

Bake UNCOVERED at 275 degrees for 3 hours. This also makes a wonderful dish to serve company. It can be served with rice or noodles…either on top or as a side. You can either serve the dried beef under the chicken when you plate, or not…it is mainly there for flavoring the chicken during cooking, For company, I would not serve the chicken with the beef.

TIP: Add a little water to the drippings in the pan, after removing the dried beef & chicken, and reheat…it makes a delicious gravy for pouring over rice or noodles.
